Centrifuge Features & Specifications
Designed, Made, and Tested in the USA.
Our centrifuges are designed, manufactured, assembled, and tested in the USA for consistent quality and performance.
Submicron Particulate Removal.
The high-speed centrifuge removes extremely fine particulate contamination from oil without the need for disposable filter elements.
Forced Ventilation.
An integrated forced-ventilation system exhausts vapors released while processing waste oils or biodiesel. This helps prevent clean oil from being recontaminated by condensed water vapor and provides ventilation for methanol vapors that may be released during biodiesel processing.
Separate Clean and Dirty Oil Chambers.
An internal dam keeps incoming dirty oil separated from the cleaned oil leaving the centrifuge, helping prevent cross-contamination during operation.
Full-Circumference Feed Plate.
The feed plate distributes incoming oil evenly around the circumference of the centrifuge bowl. Rather than channeling oil into only a few concentrated areas or relying on a wobbly cone, the design provides consistent distribution around the rotor.
Industrial 3/4 HP Motor.
The centrifuge is powered by a heavy-duty 3/4 HP industrial electric motor. Single-phase 120/240V and three-phase 230/460V pre-wired motor configurations are available.
Compact 55-Gallon Drum Footprint.
The centrifuge has a compact footprint designed to fit conveniently on top of a standard 55-gallon drum.
Belt-Driven Overdrive System.
A belt overdrive system brings the centrifuge rotor up to high operating speed while allowing the electric motor itself to run at approximately 1,800 RPM. The lower motor speed contributes to quieter and cooler operation while helping extend motor life.
Large One-Gallon Centrifuge Bowl.
The large one-gallon displacement bowl provides the capacity to process approximately 360 to 1,000 gallons of oil per day, depending on the oil and operating conditions.
165 Cubic Inches of Sludge Capacity.
The centrifuge bowl can retain up to approximately 165 cubic inches of separated sludge and contaminants, allowing substantial material to accumulate between cleanings.
Large Inlet and Outlet Connections.
The centrifuge uses a 1/4-inch NPT inlet and a large 1-1/4-inch NPT outlet for straightforward integration into an oil-processing system.
Heavy-Duty Independent Spindle.
The operating load of the centrifuge is supported by a heavy-duty 1-inch-diameter spindle with replaceable bearings. Unlike designs that place the centrifuge load directly on the electric motor bearings, the independent spindle isolates the motor from the high-speed rotor load.
Quick-Release Bowl Removal.
The quick-release spindle design allows the centrifuge bowl to be removed in less than one minute, making routine cleaning and maintenance fast and straightforward.
Heavy-Duty Aluminum Body.
The centrifuge uses a substantial 1-inch-thick aluminum body to provide rigidity and help minimize vibration during high-speed operation.
Aircraft-Grade Aluminum Rotor.
The rotor is machined from an aircraft-grade aluminum casting to provide the strength, precision, and dimensional stability required for high-speed centrifuge operation.
Approximately 120 Pounds.
The complete machine has a nominal weight of approximately 120 pounds, providing a substantial and stable platform while maintaining a relatively compact footprint.
Approximately 15 Minutes from Box to Operation.
The centrifuge is designed for straightforward setup and can typically go from unpacking to operation in approximately 15 minutes.
